This year ADG Zephyr Ltd was awarded a large chilling and freezing contract with a leading UK muffin supplier. The challenge was to provide a solution that would not only house two large Autobake "Serpentine" systems but would deliver consistently high levels of performance both in terms of product alignment & product core temperatures to ensure that robotic handling could be applied successfully. Extensive test work was undertaken to underpin the thermodynamic design of the system on this demanding application. |

Due to the space constraints and critical timing, the project had to be designed, planned and managed to the finest detail & delivered on site under CDM regulations On successful completion and handover, record efficiency levels were achieved. |

ADG Zephyr ltd acting as Engineering Consultants for a rapidly expanding bakery were awarded a contract to upgrade the cooling processes throughout the facility. The Bakery also required an urgent ceiling replacement to improve hygiene and aesthetics.
A reconditioned spiral cooler was added to replace an underperforming static rack cooling process. Outside 2 stage filtered air is used to cool the loaves and rolls. The filters complied to G4 and F7 levels. The conveyor system was also modified entering and leaving the spiral over 2 days. |

ADG Zephyr have successfully supplied and installed another MAREL spiral freezer into a Blue chip client.
Numerous product trials were carried out to confirm the airflow, belt selection and suitability of design on this key product line.
Marel have over 500 spiral systems in the market, including some of the largest in the world.

ADG Zephyr recently supplied a midget spiral freezer to a major client for whole pies with an NH3 refigeration plant.
The client also uses the spiral as a dehumidifier to dry out pie shells that are fed into the spiral. A dessicant wheel
System is installed onto the spiral system to dry the air out and the spiral is run in ambient conditions.
The freezing and drying process was confirmed and verified by product trials that the customer witnessed before order
placement. This turnkey project was fully installed successfully this year to meet the clients growth in production. |
