Bakery ventilation and cooling
ADG Zephyr Ltd acting as engineering consultants for a rapidly expanding bakery were awarded a contract to upgrade the cooling processes throughout the facility. The bakery also required an urgent ceiling replacement to improve hygiene and aesthetics.
A reconditioned spiral cooler was added to replace an underperforming static rack cooling process. Outside 2 stage filtered air is used to cool the loaves and rolls. The filters complied to G4 and F7 levels. The conveyor system was also modified entering and leaving the spiral over 2 days.
